Welcome to Funk It Up Clothing

Welcome to Funk It Up Clothing. I’m Alison Haw and I’ve recently realised a longstanding ambition and started up my own fashion business. But it’s a business with a difference! Funk-It-Up Clothing, based in Leeds and covering the whole Yorkshire area, brings together a wide range of styles at sensible prices, to suit sizes 8-22, and covering a wide age range too, and is inspired by designers such as Vivienne Westwood and All Saints. Its uniqueness is that it allows you to enjoy retail therapy in the comfort of your own home or workplace with family, friends and colleagues and avoid the hustle and bustle of the high street. Your own pop-up shop brought to and tailored for you, the customer. Eventually, clothing will be available online but, for now, the pop-up party is definitely the way to go!

Why Funk-It-Up?

Well, that’s my own catch phrase, which reflects my take on fashion, which I’m really passionate about. I’ve used my love of and keen eye for fashion to share it with you. From any angle, I can individualise an item by funking it up, perhaps with strong accessories, the right make-up or choosing key styles that can be worn in a multitude of ways – or a combination of all of them. I live and breathe fashion… by funking it up!

Funk-It-Up’s different. I’m different!

A good friend told me I’m unique and full of energy. Not off the peg. That’s how I see fashion and like to wear clothes in my own way. I also love being busy, socialising and looking the part without having to spend extortionate amounts on designer gear!

The benefits of Funk-It-Up

  • A bespoke approach to really stylish clothing.

Why wait? Book a Funk-It-Up party now

You can host a Funk-It-Up party at home, at work or for a school fundraising or charity event. Whichever way you choose, you’ll receive 10% of clothes sales. If it’s a private house party, you get to keep the ‘commission’ in the form of clothing and accessories. So you can keep your wardrobe up-to-date throughout the year by hosting regular parties! If it’s at school or your workplace, the 10% will go towards your favourite charity. Because my business ethics are important too. Really looking forward to hearing from you.
